My first home piece may be my favourite, the vibrancy of the boat in contrast to the soft green of the leaves and the strong shadows cast by the tree. I also have an interest in nature mixed with man-made structures.

For me home is a combination of nature, and scenic location’s that have their own charter.

Inspiration for this piece came from John Barsby’s work on the contrast of colours. This use of contrasting imagery is something I would like to look at further in my work.
